
Rat Temple is a temple relic Majapahit Kingdom, located in the complex Trowulan, precisely in Hamlet Tinuk, Village Temon, Trowulan Sub-district, Mojokerto, East Java. This temple is one of the major archaeological sites in Trowulan. Rat Temple Building a ritual bathing place (petirtaan) at the government center complex of Majapahit. The main building consists of two levels.
This temple site excavated in 1914 by order of the Regent Kromodjojo Adinegoro Mojokerto. Because mice are often found around the ruins, the site later named Candi Tikus [1]. New mouse restored Temple in the year 1985-1989.
Rat Temple estimated built in the 13th century or 14th century. This temple is associated with the description in the book Mpu Prapanca Negarakertagama, that there is a place to bathe the king and certain ceremonies are performed in the swimming-pool
